How are we supposed to teach our children fiscal responsibility if their teachers and the MMSD don't understand the concept. 4K will damage a school district that is already broke. Thanks a lot school board members.

I heard the other day that the school in my neighborhood doesn't have any more spots available. My daughter is going to have to take a 30 minute bus ride early in the morning to get to school. She is only 4! Yeah, thanks school board members.

As a kindergarten teacher, I can only see positive effects from 4k. I believe this will provide young learners with the opportunity to be in a play-based environment that will develop their creativity, social skills, and love for learning. Even though the initial costs are great, the benefits will far outweigh the costs in the long run.
